Jenny Brown is a senior at Foley High School with big plans after graduation.
1.) What are your after graduation plans?
After graduation, I plan on working with my dad while I make my way through community college, and then when I am done with my general studies there, I will go to a university and get my Bachelor’s in Forensics and join the FBI or become a CSI.
2.) Last experience that made you a stronger person?
The last experience that made me a stronger person was when my boyfriend broke up with me at Prom. This made me a stronger person because it made me look deeper within myself and realize that I am a strong and beautiful woman who has grown from that experience, and now I know what I want out of a relationship and life.
3.) Who would you like to thank and why?
I would like to thank my family and my best friend. They have helped me through the toughest situations in my life, even if they saw them as minuscule. They helped me realize who I want to become and who I was always meant to be. So thank you guy, you mean the world to me.
4.) If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
The first thing I would do if I won the lottery is I would buy my parents and my sister a nice home, because they deserve it. They should get a nice place to live and call their own.
5.) The best advice I would give a 10-year-old would be?
The best advice I wold give to a 10-year-old is to be kind to others and love yourself. Being kind to others really brightens other people’s day, and others notice when you are nice. They’ll want to reward you or make sure good things happen to you. Loving yourself is also important, because you are the only person in this entire world who knows you best. You’re so unique and lovely, and no one else can replace you.
6.) What do you miss most about being a kid?
What I miss most about being a kid is the careless nature and not worrying about so many things, like romance or school or college. All you did was play and learn and grow; now you have to do so many things all at once and maintain an image that you’re fine, when really on the inside you’re crumbling. Everyone expects you to get a boyfriend or girlfriend, and if you don’t you’re not cool or pretty, and if you don’t have a high GPA then you’re seen as stupid or lazy, and if you don’t love a certain thing then you feel weird.
7.) What story does your family always tell about you?
My family always tells the story about when they bought a brand new leather couch and as my mother was signing for it, I drew on the back of the couch with black permanent marker. She didn’t have that couch for one day before I ruined it!
8.) If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
If I could learn to do anything, it would be to play the piano or violin. I’ve always loved the classical sounds of both of the instruments and the feel of playing beautiful music. If I had to choose between either one, I would most likely choose the piano.
9.) What’s your favorite outdoor/indoor activity?
My favorite indoor activities are playing with my three-year-old nephew, watching gaming videos on YouTube, and laughing along with the Let’s Player. My favorite outdoor activity is listening to music and jumping or laying on the trampoline at my house, which helps me think and come up with story ideas.
10.) If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
If I could witness any event, I would probably choose my mom and dad’s meeting. I choose this event because the story of how they met is so funny and cute, that I would just love to see how it all played out in real-time. I would just like to see what kind of people they were when they were younger.
Good luck Jenny in your future endeavors!
