If you’ve been inside the library recently, you may have noticed a group of words taped onto the wall just as you walk in. This is not just any group of words, but the Foley High School library’s mission statement.
Our librarians and the ones behind the motto, Mrs. Dunaway and Mrs. Winn, want Foley High School to know that the library belongs to all students, staff, and community members, and all are accepted with open arms.
The library is a safe and welcoming environment where students can expand their knowledge and have access to a variety of resources.
Piles upon piles of books fill the library shelves. Computers are out and ready for students. A printer is available, and students can print out papers when needed with only a small fee required for a larger number of papers. Chairs and tables are even scattered across the library, allowing students to rest and work on school work or crack open a library book.
Remember, this is your library. Take advantage of this gift, and thank the people who make it available to you.
