The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce Junior Ambassadors took a trip to Montgomery to tour the state Capital. They were able to go to the Alabama State Supreme Court and sit in the court room. Then, they had lunch at the RSA Tower, followed by a tour of both the Capital building and State House. In the State House, both the House of Representative and Senate were discussing education bills.
Governor Bentley was gracious with his time with them and even took some individual pictures and was willing to take a selfie. The last stop was the Civil Right Museum where students were able to view the memorial, Faces in the Water, which features those lost during the Civil Rights Movement.
The Chamber sponsors are Gale Croft and Rachel Spear.
Community diplomats attended as well: Ryan Moore, Kim Koniar, and Travis Valentine.
