Where are you from?
What is different between school there and here in Foley?
The grading system is different, and there are more social events at Foley.
What has been your favorite experience in America so far?
That’s difficult to answer since there have been so many like karaoke, water sports, the beach, restaurants, and learning to drive.
Do you play any sports and if so how long have you been playing?
In Austria I dance (5 years) and in America I play volleyball.
Do you have any special talents or unique traits?
I play the piano and I speak Romanian, German, English, and Spanish. I’m about to learn Russian.
What is different about life in general in America and where you are from?
The transportation system and food.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Hanging out with friends, spending time with my family, restaurants, and shopping.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Who do you look up to to the most?
I admire my mom Rina and my host mom Lindsay. They are just amazing, and I love them!
When you graduate high school, what are your plans?
I am going to Vienna University of Economics and Business.
The exchange company that students go through is called EF High School Exchange Year. If anyone is interested in studying abroad EF has a program that they can join. Host families are also needed for next school year.
